About

Hi, I'm Dougal Stewart (also known as Hunter_Brock) and I am a 16 year old composer and programmer.

Programming

I was first inspired to start programming when I was 9, making simple games using php with the help of my dad. At the time I was using programming as a tool to make games. However, once I started diving deeper into computer science, learning how the various languages I was using worked behind the scenes, my fascination with computer science started to grow. Since then, both my interests and skills have grown considerably after working on projects such as Vkav, Penguin and my Non-realtime Audio Processor.

Music

Ironically, music used to be one of my least favourite subjects. However, in 2017, I started to find and explore music that I genuinely enjoyed listening to. Eventually, this inspired me to start making music myself, and in the summer of 2018, I started creating my first tracks. I immediately found creating music to be extraordinarily rewarding despite my apparent lack of talent. Since then, I have been continuously producing music, learning all that I can about music production.
